ActiveHTML: System Requirements
Hardware:
- PC-System with Intel® 486 (Pentium® recommended) or compatible processor
- 64 MB RAM (128 MB recommended)
- 5 MB available hard disk space
- VGA-adapter (min. 640x480/16 colors)
- Keyboard and mouse
Operating System:
- Windows NT 4.0 (min. Service pack 3), Workstation or Server
- Windows 2000, Professional, Server or Advanced Server
- Windows XP Workstation
- Windows 2003
- Windows Vista (all editions)
- Windows 2008
- Not Supported: Windows 95, 98, Me

Web server:
If your web server is not in the list of already tested servers, it has to meet the following
requirements to successfully run ActiveHTML:
Your web server must support CGI-Interface Version 1.1
Your web server should be able to run cgi programs based on extension of the requested document. If your web
server supports filemapping, you have to map *.asp and *.asa files to AHTML.EXE.
Your web server should be able to manage directory aliases or virtual folders
To use AHTML.SwitchUser, your web server should run as a system service. If not, you have to permit the user
executing the web server to act as part of the operating system. You may want to use SRVANY (part of the Windows NT/2000 resource
kit) to enable your web server to run as a system service.
Access requirements:
- You must be a member of the local administrator group on the machine you want to install ActiveHTML

It is likely that you already have the Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime installed on your computers. It will be
automatically installed when you install the current Windows NT service pack, Microsoft Internet Explorer and many other
programs |
