AutoLogon

Windows NT/2000 provides a way to logon without typing in username and password. Here you may define which user should be automatically logged on next time the workstation starts.

Windows 2000 has some extended features:

Set number of times to do an automatic logon

If this value is set, Windows 2000 counts down the given number any automatic logon. Reaching zero disables autologon.

Ignore pressed Shift key at logon

Pressing Shift at logon normally disables Autologon. Check this options to enforce an automatic logon event shift key is pressed

Enable Autologon for subsequent logoffs

Autologon only applies to the first logon. To enforce this setting for subsequent logoffs check this option
